Is It A Pet Emergency?

In our eyes, anything that you are concerned about and want to have looked at by a doctor immediately is an emergency. Many practices get upset over seeing a patient on the overnight that they don’t consider an emergency; we don’t feel that way and don’t want any of our clients to feel awkward coming in for something that they are worried may not be a true emergency if they want to come in. Some emergencies are easily recognized, while other are not easily recognized but may be just as life-threatening to your pet. Clinical symptoms may develop slowly with some illnesses or injuries, and it is often difficult to recognize them or judge their severity. Please see our pet emergencies page for a list of symptoms for which your pet needs immediate medical care. If you are unsure, please give us a call to discuss your pet’s condition with our expert staff.
